Project completed 2022Swimming pool at Greenwich home. Set in a beautiful tranquil harbour-front setting, the pool is carefully placed in amongst the jacaranda tree. Half sunken in the ground, the pool responds to existing levels of the decks and terrain, to feel part of the landscape.
The client was after a plunge pool where she could undertake her daily aquatic exercises. Something small, yet deep, and carefelly placed in the garden, respecting the original house and garden proportions.
Integrated in the design is a lockable cover, voiding the need for a fence surrounding the pool. This helps it feel more at-one with the landscape.
The dark green/blue colour choice of the mosaic tiles was to mimic that of the Sydney harbour directly in front of the property.
The coping tile is also carefully paired with the same stone tile wrapping the sides of the pool, creating a beautiful, effortless and crafted finish to the pool.
